Powers of Attorney

A health care power of attorney grants another person (called your Patient Advocate) the power to make medical and life support decisions for you when you are no longer able to act for yourself. Selecting a Patient Advocate is not a decision to be taken lightly and I will help educate you to select the best person to make medical decisions on your behalf.

A durable power of attorney for finances grants another person (called your Agent) the power to make financial decisions for you.  Your agent has a duty to act in your best interest, and the power of attorney can be effective either immediately or when you are no longer able to act for yourself. Your Patient Advocate and Agent do not have to be the same person and I will help you decide the best person to make financial decisions on your behalf.
